La plataforma para nuevos talentos en la moda masculina comandada por TOPMAN y Fashion East, eligió a Per Götesson, Feng Chen Wang y LOVERBOY como las nuevas caras para representarlos durante la presentación de MAN SS17
Abriendo el show, Per Götesson presentó su proyecto de tesis, el cual presentaba piezas deconstruidas y extremadamente amplias en denim y otros materiales. La inspiración quizás venga de la altura del diseñador, quien al medir 1.95 tiene un tema personal con la proporción de sus diseños, y como estos pueden crear una ilusión de balance. Su estilo es hip hop, urbano y desenfadado, y aporta frescura a las formas de presentar el denim.

Feng Chen Wang continuó con el desfile mostrando una colección que parecía influenciada por paracaídas que abrazaban los cuerpos de los modelos, y que estaban sostenidos por jaretas a través del cuerpo, dando diferentes formas e interesantes siluetas para un look sport ligero y activo. Seguramente las prendas en la colección son multifuncionales, y permiten que un pantalón se convierta en bermudas, y que una chaqueta se vuelta playera al estirar las jaretas; tendremos que conocer la colección en persona para averiguarlo.

Cerrando el show de MAN SS17, nuestra colección favorita en la tercia, por parte de Charles Jeffrey y su marca LOVERBOY. A veces obscura, a veces festiva, la propuesta de LOVERBOY puede ser descrita como una comunidad paralela en un mundo desconocido, con un líder en una gabardina azul cielo, paganos en ajustados corsets, guerreros en ropa de batalla y aristócratas que reinan dicha comunidad, vestidos en opulentas prendas.

The platform for new talents in menswear led by TOPMAN and Fashion East, chose Per Götesson, Chen Feng Wang and LOVERBOY as the new faces to represent them at the MAN SS17 presentation.
Opening the show, Per Götesson presented his thesis project, which had deconstructed and extremely broad in denim mixed with other material. The inspiration may come from the height of the designer, who is 6´4 and might have a personal issue with the proportion of their designs, and how they can create an illusion of balance. His style is hip hop, urban and carefree, and brings freshness to the ways of presenting denim in a collection.
Chen Feng Wang continued with the runway, showing a collection that seemed influenced by parachutes embracing the bodies of the models, and were supported by tucks through the body, giving different forms and interesting silhouettes for a lightweight look, sporty and active. Surely the items in the collection are multifunctional and allow trousers to become shorts, and jackets to turn into shirts. We need to have the collection in our hands in order to find out.
Closing the MAN SS17 show, our favorite collection by Charles Jeffrey and his brand, LOVERBOY. Sometimes dark, sometimes festive, LOVERBOY’s collection can be described as a parallel community in an unknown world, with a leader in a blue raincoat, pagans in tight corsets, warriors in battle clothes and aristocrats who rule this community, dressed in opulent garments.
