El año 1860 nos traslada a la fecha en que Louis-Ulysse Chopard fundó su manufactura relojera. En 1996, tras la creación de la Manufactura Chopard, la casa presentó su primer reloj L.U.C contemporáneo: el L.U.C 1860.Veinte años después de este histórico acontecimiento Chopard presenta el L.U.C XPS 1860, un homenaje al primer reloj de la colección L.U.C y el cual se caracteriza por su respeto a la gran tradición relojera y por la cronometría.
El super elegante L.U.C 1860 se adelantó a la tendencia de los modelos ultra finos. Con su caja de exquisitos acabados, sus contemporáneas agujas “dauphine” y sus elegantes índices, el L.U.C XPS 1860 ofrece una reinterpretación de aquella pieza histórica. El L.U.C XPS 1860 se presenta en dos versiones, con caja de oro rosa de 18k y caja de acero. Su elegancia se ve reforzada por su particular esfera. Su parte central está decorada en “guilloché” realizado a mano, con un sofisticado diseño para la versión en oro rosa, y en “satiné soleil” para la versión en acero.
Sin embargo, el criterio relojero de la colección L.U.C va siempre más lejos de lo que representa la simple ejecución de un clásico.
