Hermes A Puertas Abiertas
Hermès la legendaria casa peletera francesa exhibirá el trabajo de sus artesanos en el evento itinerante Hermès a Puertas Abiertas en la Ciudad de México.
Este original evento nos trasladara a lo que sucede detrás de bambalinas, en la intimidad de los talleres de Hermès para conocer acerca de los procesos necesarios para elaborar un objeto de lujo. Los artesanos demostraran su talento y podrán compartir sus experimentos, transmitir sus pasiones a los visitantes y contestar sus preguntas a través de un diálogo directo con el público.
Además de aprender acerca de las herramientas, materiales y tiempo necesario para producir las piezas de piel por las cuales la casa es famosa, los visitantes podrán ver ante sus ojos cómo se imprime la famosa mascada de seda de Hermès o cómo emergen a la vida objetos como vajillas y accesorios. Sin duda una manera de hacer reconsiderar a los invitados todo lo que engloba el termino artesanía.
El evento tendrá como sede el Parque Lincoln, en la colonia Polanco de la Ciudad de México, del 3 al 12 de junio de 2016.
Hermès, the legendary French house will showcase the work of its artisans in the traveling event Hermès a Puertas Abiertas in Mexico City.
This original event will show us what happens behind the scenes, in the privacy of the Hermès workshops to learn about the processes needed to develop a luxury item. The artisans will demonstrate their talent and will share their experiments, transmit their passions to visitors and answer questions through a direct dialogue with the public.
In addition to learning about the tools, materials and time needed to produce the leather pieces for which the house is famous, visitors can see how the famous Hermès silk scarf is printed or how other objects as dinnerware and accessories emerge to life. Certainly, it is a great way to make guests reconsider everything that encompasses the term craftsmanship.
The event will be held at Parque Lincoln in the Polanco neighborhood of Mexico City, June 3rd – 12th 2016.
